Best Way To Burn Fat
Looking for the best way to burn fat? If you want to be realistic, forget about all of the quick fixes you've heard about because they simply don't work.
Although that may not be what you want to hear, learning how to burn fat is really not as hard as it sounds. If you want to learn something that actually works, it just comes down to understanding how your body burns fat so you know the best way to attack it.
Many people will hire a personal trainer so they can be taught to burn fat efficiently. If you can afford this, I highly recommend it, because these are the experts and they are very good at what they do.
For those of us in the real world, here are a few of the best ways to burn body fat using exercise. First, it's important to understand, that fat burning is the process where free fatty acids are used for fuel as opposed to glucose which is human blood sugar.
When you exercise, your body will first call on the carbohydrates in your system for energy. To effectively burn fat, your goal is to first use those carbohydrates up so your body will perform the metabolic shift from sugar burning to fat burning. In other words, the only way to burn fat is to continue to exercise after the carbohydrates have been depleted.
Once the carbohydrates are gone, your body calls on stored fat for energy and that's when your body will start to burn fat. So before you exercise, do some stretching and warm up exercises to start the carbohydrates burning.
Also a combination of strength training to keep your metabolism up and cardio exercises to burn fat is ideal. Adding weight training to your workout is one of the best ways to burn fat effectively.
When you are exercising, staying in your target heart rate zone will also produce maximum fat burning results. To find out what your heart rate is while exercising, place your thumb on the underside of your wrist to locate your pulse.
Count the beats for 15 seconds and multiply that number times four. That number is your heart rate. To calculate your ideal target heart rate zone, subtract your age from 220.
When you are beginning any fitness program you should start slow by exercising at about 50% to 65% of your target heart range. You can increase that range to 80% when you are more fit. Once you have properly warmed up, you can then move up to your target heart rate zone.
Although burning body fat is unique for each individual, this approach will offer you a basic understanding of how body fat is burned off and the best part about it is it actually works.
